‘Red hills of Georgia’ takes on a new meaning…
If you haven’t yet tuned in to this high-profile case in Georgia, you may want to do so.
The State of Georgia is about to kill a man at 7pm Wednesday who was effectively been required to prove his innocence in a court of “law.” No ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ here.
Not only that, but the vast majority of the witnesses who have testified against him have recanted their testimonies.
One cannot help but wonder if we’re seeing a bit of the “Only Ones” brotherhood in effect.
Some people deserve to be killed for their crimes, but I certainly don’t trust the government enough to allow them to make those decisions.
